Fitness OS is developed by TOS Creations. We recognize that fitness information, personal goals, and practice recordings deserve careful handling.

This policy describes how Fitness OS collects, uses, stores, and processes information when you use the application.

Information We Process

Depending on the features you use, Fitness OS processes information such as:

• Account information, including email address
• Authentication and account-management information
• Fitness goals and preferences
• Saved routines and exercise selections
• Workout sets, repetitions, weights, and timed holds
• Workout history and progress information
• Information you provide to the AI Coach
• Practice recordings you choose to upload
• Associated technical and session information

We use this information to operate the app, provide requested features, maintain accounts, support troubleshooting, and improve service reliability.

Accounts and Authentication

Fitness OS uses accounts so users can access their personal workout information and saved training activity.

Account credentials are used for authentication, access control, and account-management features.

Users can initiate account deletion from the Me screen within Fitness OS.

Workout and Fitness Information

Fitness OS stores workout information associated with your account, including routines, training goals, completed activity, and progress records.

These records support workout planning, logging, history, and personalized training features.

AI Coach and OpenAI

Fitness OS uses OpenAI services to provide AI-supported coaching.

When you use the AI Coach, information from your questions and relevant fitness context may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing and response generation.

This may include goals, preferences, workout information, and details you choose to share with the AI Coach.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate. They do not replace professional medical advice or an individualized assessment from a qualified fitness professional.

Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information into AI conversations.

Practice Recordings

Fitness OS allows users to create practice recordings for personal review.

Recordings are temporarily stored on the device before submission.

When you choose to send a clip, Fitness OS uploads the recording, including any captured audio, to our backend hosted on Render.

Uploaded video files are stored on backend persistent storage and associated with the user's account.

Recording metadata and file references are stored separately in the application's database.

Playback requires authentication and an authorization check to verify that the recording belongs to the user requesting it.

After successful upload, the app attempts to remove temporary device recordings and preview frames.

Automated AI video analysis is not currently enabled. The current practice recording flow does not send videos or video frames to OpenAI.

Hosting and Service Providers

Fitness OS uses the following services:

• Render: Backend hosting, PostgreSQL database hosting, and persistent storage for uploaded recordings.
• OpenAI: AI-supported coaching and response generation.

These services process relevant information to support the functionality described in this policy.

Data Security

Fitness OS uses authentication and application access controls to protect account-specific information.

Access to uploaded recordings requires user authentication and an ownership authorization check.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Please protect your account credentials and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

Account and workout information is maintained as needed to provide Fitness OS features.

Users can request account deletion directly within the application using the Delete Account option on the Me screen.

Account deletion requires password verification and explicit confirmation.

The deletion process removes associated account and workout records and queues associated recording files for deletion.

The timing of physical recording-file removal and any retention in backups may differ from the removal of active account and database records.

Information Sharing

Fitness OS processes information through service providers required to operate its backend and AI functionality.

The application does not provide a public social feed of users' private workout records or practice recordings.

Children's Privacy

Fitness OS is not specifically designed for children under 13.

Your Privacy Choices

You can manage certain information within Fitness OS, including saved routines and available recording controls.

You may initiate account deletion through the application.
